What are intercom systems?
An intercom or inter-communications device is a voice communications system, usually used in larger commercial buildings. It’s a two-way communication electronic device with the purpose of transmitting and receiving audio and/or video transmissions.
Intercoms allow people speaking into a microphone to be heard on a speaker by people in a different room or area.
DankoSec can provide intercoms that are integrated with an Access Control system, in order to help maintain and monitor visitors in high-level secure premises.
Integration with other systems
An intercom is generally part of an access control system whereby the receptionist or operator can either grant or deny access into a building.
We typically use Aiphone units at DankoSec due to their robustness and compatibility with ever-changing times.
